Book & Stitch Club :: The Pocket

Books + Stitching, what could be better! Join Claudia Martinez, the owner of Snuggly Monkey, for a virtual Book & Stitch Club. Each month we will connect via Zoom to chat about a book while we doing some stitching together. This is a very low pressure gathering with room for avid readers, enthusiastic stitchers, quiet observers and anyone that would like to join in. As long as you are willing to be kind and respectful of all participants, everyone is welcome!

We are kicking things off with The Pocket. Pockets have played a fascinating role in women's lives throughout history and around the world. We will be reading the book The Pocket while working on stitching up some tie-on pockets of our own! We will read the book over the course of 4 months (see schedule of chapters below) and you are welcome to stitch up as many pockets as you'd like (they are quite addictive!).
