Sashiko 102 is an online class taught via Zoom.
Sashiko is a Japanese style of hand embroidery that uses simple stitches to create beautiful intricate designs. Hitomezashi is one of the three main styles of Sashiko that uses longer, connected stitches on a grid to create dense and intricate patterns. A favorite for visible mending and boro-inspired projects! In Sashiko 102 we will learn the basics of Hitomezashi style stitching and then delve in to how to move beyond pre-printed samplers to use these designs in a wide variety of projects.

Claudia is fantastic, can't thank her enough for her amazing Sashiko classes. I have taken both 101 and 102, and looking forward to 103 next month.
I was so excited to open my class kit for Sashiko 102. I took the 101 class and found it to be so exciting. Claudia is a gifted teacher !!!
I cannot wait for this new adventure.
So looking forward to March 11.
Very excited for this opportunity !!!
My biggest bummer about last week was missing this class. I LOVE classes with Claudia. She is a delight to be with on Zoom and her classes are wonderful - I can't get enough of them!
Claudia is down to earth and sets a nice pace for the class. It's a comfortable online environment. The kit for purchase with the class is wonderful. You can tell she puts a lot of thought and care into the kits. I was excited about the supplies she sent. Enjoyed the coaster sampler. I feel like I had a project I could finish quickly with wonderful results.
I'd taken an online class from Claudia during the pandemic through MQG, so I was happy to see she was offering online courses on the website. I'd done basic sashiko before, and wanted to get into some of the more intricate patterns. Claudia is patient and great at explaining things step by step!
