A charming menagerie of animals inspired by Byzantine and Greek folk art, each animal sits atop a traditional folk embroidery border. Worked in cheery shades of turquoise, teal, green, terra cotta, and yellow, this design can be finished as a child’s quiet book or as a wall hanging. Each animal can also be worked independently for smaller projects such as pincushions, stuffed toys, or as mini framed art!

Included in the pattern are directions and supply lists for various finishing options (pillow cover, wall hanging, decorative cloth, and framed textile) and the Demos page has step-by-step instructions.
