Christmas Tree Sashiko Panel with Ornaments

Take your Sashiko skills to the next level with a large scale panel project! The Seasons Greetings sampler is a large scale project that would make a beautiful wall hanging or can easily be incorporated into a quilt or blanket. Due to the size of the project it is recommended for advanced beginners, however Sashiko is very beginner friendly so it can be stitched by an adventurous beginner as well! This festive panel includes a large tree panel plus 22 double sided ornaments to stitch and sew together to decorate your tree panel.

PRODUCT DETAILS:
:: Seasons Greetings Christmas Tree Sashiko Sampler
:: Size: Full panel measures 40" wide x 45" long (101cm x 115cm)
- Christmas Tree panel: 23" x 42"
- Individual ornaments measure approximately 3"x3" and include a 1/4" seam allowance for sewing together after stitching.

:: Fabric Color Options: Dark Navy, Green Tea, Christmas Red, Teal
:: Printed on high quality cotton fabric with White wash-out ink, so the stitch lines will wash away after stitching
:: Made in Japan

Thread Recommendations:

:: You will need at least 100 yards of sashiko thread to stitch the tree plus additional thread for the ornaments (suggested 50 additional yards)

:: The ornaments have dense stitchwork, so a thinner Sashiko thread (like the Yokota or Daruma Carded brands) are recommended.

Christmas Tree

A larger project than I thought but it is certainly worth it. The tree is beautiful. I’m still working on the ornaments but will be done before December. May use this as my only tree this year.
The pattern is easy to follow. Thank you for having this project for those of us that love Sashiko.

Beautiful

This is my first time attempting sashiko and I am so glad I chose this as a first project! The pattern that is printed on the fabric is very sturdy and wont rub off while working on the project. I’m going to sew buttons onto the leaves so my toddlers can hang the ornaments. :)
