The Olympus Mixed Style samplers combine traditional Moyozashi, Hitomezashi (One-stitch) and Kugurisashi (Stitch & Weave) Sashiko patterns to create beautiful intricate designs. These intermediate Sashiko samplers can be used to create hana-fukin (kitchen cloths), pillows, quilts, garments, table runners and much more. 

Olympus brand Sashiko Samplers are printed on 100% cotton Sashiko fabric (Sashiko Momen) using wash-away ink. Simply follow the stitch lines by stitching all the horizontal lines first, then the verticals and finally the diagonals and watch your complete pattern emerge as you stitch. Once you have finished stitching, simply rinse the sampler in water to wash away any stray markings.
