Sashiko Handy Pocket Guide

This book could be good for someone new to Sashiko (it has several patterns included, it gives an overview of the needed supplies, and it provides a little historical context for the author), and it could also be applicable for a more advanced sewer (some of the patterns are kamons, it provides unique application of Sashiko to different products), but it doesn't really give instructions on "how" to do Sashiko. There aren't any incredible tips for how to level up one's Sashiko stitching, so because of that, it's just (to me) a pocket-guide of common patterns that I can optionally trace onto other fabrics.

Not as in depth about stitching the patterns as I hoped but still a very good resource, I highly recommend it

This guide will he a handy pocket guide to the many stitches of sashiko. Its the perfect size for dropping into a project bag or folder.

I’m fairly new to Sashiko and this pocket guide has been extremely handy to use as a point of reference. Fits easily into my craft bag when traveling.
