DUX Pencil Sharpeners are the oldest German brand of pencil sharpeners that are renown for their exceptional quality. Since 1908, DUX has been manufacturing their metal sharpeners in Geretsried, Bavaria. Duroplast is the material that was used to produce the body of the Trabant Peoples Car that was manufactured in East Germany until the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The Duroplast Sharpener features a screw on cap with a heavy duty aluminum sharpener for easy cleaning. The sharpener blade is replaceable for years of long term usage.
