Weeks Dye Works embroidery floss is a premium 6-strand hand over-dyed Egyptian cotton thread.  The hand over-dye process adds a subtle variegation to the thread that will add a unique quality to your work.  Weeks Dye Works floss is Colorfast and no chemicals are used during the colorfast process. As a result, Weeks Dye Works is the first hand over-dye company to be certified a "Green Company" by American Textile Specialties. This is the perfect floss for hand embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, punch needle and decorative stitching on wool or other fine fabrics.
