About this experience

This class is an introduction to foundation paper-piecing techniques. In this class, we will begin by learning the basics of paper piecing by making a simple test block to get the hang of the technique. Then, we will begin work on a larger paper-pieced project. We will be making one book block from the Book Nerd quilt pattern, which can be completed after the class as a mini quilt or mug rug, or added to for a full size quilt. The single block finishes at 11” square.

By the end of the class, students will have a thorough understanding of how to foundation paper piece, and should be confident in their ability to tackle new and more complex FPP projects!

The workshop fee includes a kit with the Book Nerd quilt pattern and a pack of Carol Doak's Foundation Paper. The kit will be mailed to all enrolled students prior to the start of the workshop

Upcoming Workshop Dates:
:: Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10am - 3pm
** The class will run in two zoom sessions with a 1 hour break for lunch and "catch up" sewing.
