Due to the precision manufacturing and the natural characteristics of the wood, the lids may have a loose or tight fit. For loose fitting lids using thick paints/wax/bead of glue around the lip to ensure a better fit. For tight fitting lids, sanding the lip or box rim will result in a better fit.
