Sashiko means "little stabs" and is a Japanese style of hand embroidery. Beautifully intricate patterns are created with a simple running stitch using thick cotton Sashiko thread. Sashiko is great for beginning and advanced stitchers alike. Easy to learn and relaxing to do!

Fabulous design

I can't wait to start this pattern with dark blue thread. This pattern makes me smile, because my sister also bought it and I saw her review and she gave it five stars just like me.

Sashiko circles

I also plan on using peeled cotton 8. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Relaxes me just looking at the pattern.

Unique

I had same issue with this pattern as Nautilus. I switched to perle cotton #8 instead of sashiko thread to be able to see the stitches better.

I was excited to get this design. Different from other samplers. Was disappointed there was no backing like other sashiko pieces. I will have fun stitching it. Please bring new Sashiko samplers that have backing including.
You always try to get in new items which is great. Love to see more Sashiko
