In an effort to keep shipping rates as low and reasonable as possible, Snuggly Monkey uses the USPS for almost all package shipping. All packages are shipped with tracking services, and you will receive an email notification with your tracking number once your package ships. Packages will, on rare occasions, be sent via UPS or FedEx. If your package is shipped with any alternate carrier, you will receive notification.
Orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours of being placed (except on weekends and holidays). Rush processing may be available for an additional fee, Please inquire if interested in this service.
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your package. While every effort has been made to make sure shipping rates are accurate, occasionally shipping overcharges do occur. If your shipping overcharge is greater than $1.50 you will be issued a refund back onto your original form of payment at the time your order is processed.
All packages under 13 oz are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, which typically takes 2-5 days.
Any packages weighing over 14oz are shipped using Priority Mail, which typically takes 2-3 days.
Express Mail (overnight) service is available for an additional fee. Please contact me for more information.
All packages weighing less than 4 lbs will ship via USPS First Class International Mail service. This service typically takes 10-15 days to reach most locations, however please be aware that it can take up to 4-6 weeks. This service DOES NOT include package tracking services. Once your package leaves the US, I am unable to track its progress. When your items ship, you will receive a Customs Tracking number. If you have concerns regarding the arrival of your package and it has already left the USA, please contact your local customs office with your Customs Tracking number for additional assistance.
Package tracking is available internationally with Priority International Mail service. This level of postal service begins at $25 USD for most international destinations. If you are interested in upgrading your service, please contact me for more information.
Customers are responsible for any duty/tax that is due upon receipt of the package. According to US law, customs forms must be completed accurately and completely. Please do not ask to have the package marked "gift" or to reduce the total cost of the item(s) in the package as this is illegal. All packages are marked as "Merchandise" (no exceptions). Snuggly Monkey cannot accept responsibility for international orders that are held up in customs.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Delivery Confirmation is included in your shipping charges. I retain receipts of all packages shipped (recording the date and your postal code) as documentation that your package was shipped. If you have not received your package in a timely manner, please contact me so that we can try to locate your package. I will automatically add Insurance to any package over $50.
I do my best to package all of my items so that they arrive to you in excellent condition. However, occasionally an item is damaged in transit. If your item is damaged upon arrival, please email me (email@example.com) with photos of the damage so that we can arrange for a replacement.
Ship To Address
Your package will be shipped to the address provided when you place your order. Please be sure to double check that this address is correct before you submit your order. If you realize that the address is incorrect, please contact me ASAP to make any necessary corrections. If a package is returned to Snuggly Monkey as "undeliverable due to incorrect address", you will have the option to either pay to have it re-shipped or to receive a refund for the purchase price of the items (shipping cannot be refunded unfortunately).
