Sashiko is a beautiful and simple style of Japanese hand embroidery. Sashiko thread is made from 100% fine Egyptian cotton. This thick, sturdy cotton thread is ideal for sashiko samplers, decorative hand quilting, hand embroidery and more.

The Multi-Color Sashiko Thread Braids are handmade in the Snuggly Monkey Studio to give you the opportunity to try out several different colors of Olympus Sashiko thread without having to purchase full skeins. The threads arrive already braided, so all you need to do is pull your thread from the top of the braid and start stitching!

Beautiful

I love the thread braids, they’re so convenient and lovely. This one has amazing vibrant colors. Most of the colors are the same as the picture, the yellow is close but a little more golden and vibrant - so it’s actually better than what is shown!
