Sized for slender to average width fingers

I saw reviews that advised these ran small. My hands and fingers are on the smaller size, but they are not narrow. I usually buy women's medium gloves. I purchased the large size of thimbles. I haven't put them to use with a needle yet, but they are very grippy!

At the base of my fingernail, my thumb measures a little over 13/16" across and my pointer finger measures a little under 3/4" across. The large size thimbles fit my thumb snugly but comfortably. They are loose on my pointer finger. It can mostly stay on since the material is grippy, but I will be purchasing the medium size for a better fit. My partner has larger hands than me, and the large thimble could only fit on his ring and pinky fingers. If you have larger fingers, you will need to look for a different option.

They feel sturdy and provide a lot of traction. They are also comfortable at my initial try-on, and I suspect will be fine to wear for extended periods since they are perforated for airflow.

And yes, I put some hand lotion on after seeing my close-up photos. :)

Order a bigger size than you think. Great product!

I have small hands so I followed the advice in the reviews and ordered medium instead of small. Nope! I had to move up to Large. That size works great. It really helps to grip the needle to pull the thread through stiffer fabrics. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. As long as you get the size right.

Little House needle gripper

I ordered two sizes, medium and large hoping the medium would fit my index finger and the large for my thumb but the medium is too tight for my index finger. Luckly there are two to a package so I can still have what I need. I do not have fat fingers so keep that in mind when ordering. Even so they work great for gripping the needle while quilting.

Love this thimble

Silicone thimble fits snugly and does the trick, especially for pulling needles through. I order a large and it works great for my large sturdy hands

Way small!!!

I have very small hands so ordered medium. Not even close to fitting. Guess the search for a thimble/ gripper continues . . .
