Otomi embroidery, also known as Tenangos, refers to a traditional form of indigenous Mexican embroidery originating from the Otomi people, who primarily inhabit the central region of Mexico. Otomi embroidery is celebrated for its vibrant and intricate designs, often featuring intricate, colorful patterns of flora, fauna, and mythological motifs. Otomi embroidery is known for its colorful & intricate designs of mythological and cultural themes. 

Otomi embroidery has gained international recognition for its exquisite craftsmanship and vibrant aesthetic. It has found its way into contemporary fashion, interior design, and artistic expressions, transcending its traditional roots to become a cherished form of Mexican folk art.

Snuggly Monkey Otomi Embroidery kits are a collaboration between Snuggly Monkey & Ingrid Villarreal. All of the designs are hand-drawn by Ingrid on Mexican manta cloth.
