Beautiful artistic piece

I stitched this up for my sister for a holiday present and she loves it. It was unusual to have lines on the pattern that the artist didn't embroider and since I was running out of time, I followed her lead on that. I like the balance of white space. This was a good (and surprisingly painless) exercise in satin stitching and I appreciated having the cosmo floss as it tangles less and looks smoother. There was a lot of floss left over too! I had a hard time fitting it into the square nurge hoop I got to display it, so that was the only drawback.
