This was one of the first projects I picked up after a long hiatus from doing any embroidery. I wasn’t happy with how my stitches looked; they weren’t difficult at all. I found a few of Tamar Nahir’s other designs didn’t have as detailed, and interlacing las this one. By working on these first it gave me a chance to practice the running and back stitches. Then this winter I came back to Happiness and fully enjoyed the stitching it and thinking about the person to whom I am gifting it.
