Works well

It's very sharp and easy to run down a line of stitching and quickly snip it. However, I do need to switch back to my old Singer seam ripper for those tight corners where I have 3 or 4 pieces of fabric sewn and need to use the "needle nose" portion of the ripper to get in there. Otherwise, I love this one and would definitely recommend it.

The Kai seam ripper and the Tulip Third Hand just saved me lots of time and tears. I stitched together a bunch of curved blocks for a Snake Trail quilt. Unfortunately I forgot to set my machine to 1/4 seam allowance. The combo of the seam ripper and the third hand helped me get the pieces back apart fairly quickly. I'm so happy with these items!
