The Bohin Needle Puller combines a needle puller, thimble and thread cutter into one handy tool. Easy to use, this unique tool is perfect for Sashiko stitching, visible mending, hand quilting and many more projects.
To use as a needle puller, insert the end of your needle into the notch on the at the bottom and press down on the white plunger. This will keep your needle securely in place as you pull it out through your fabric.
To use as a thimble, use the red oval pad at the top of the tool to help push your needle through the fabric.
To use as a thread cutter, pull your thread through the encased blade below the oval thimble pad to quickly and easily snip your threads.PRODUCT DETAILS:
As I'm getting older, any help that I can get to pull needles through with my thimble fingers is amazing. I totally recommend this product.
Someone I follow on Instagram recommended this ages ago, and so I got one to use for finishing off thread when I cross stitch. I don't use knots, and when I get to the end of the working strand, I slide it under a few stitches on the back and pull it through to secure it. The trouble is, I am a pretty tight stitcher, so it can be a bear to pull through, and before I got this, I had very sore fingertips after working for extended periods. This little tool makes it much easier, and I no longer end up with sore fingers.
I haven't yet tried it, but I also imagine this tool would be indispensable for hand sewing thicker fabric, for example when decorating or mending denim.
It is slightly inconvenient to wear it all the time, but It works well when it gets hard to pull the needle through layers.
I have wanted this thimble for a awhile but I didn't think I would use it enough. However I have used it more than my other thimbles and needle puller has saved my fingers and my needles. I love it.
I have a tendency to load stitches onto my needle, then have difficulty pulling it free of the fabric. This tool grabs on to the needle and gives the traction to pull effectively. A plus is that the finger loop is large enough that I don't have to remove my thimble while using it.
