Good for small skeins of sashiko, probably great for embroidery/cross-stitch

These little bobbins work GREAT for my 20m and 40m skeins of sashiko thread. (I untwist the skein, cut it at the halfway knot, and then I loop and secure the thread through the bottom hole. It works well for the smaller skeins, and I can use the upper hole for a metal o-ring to keep everything together.) HOWEVER, if we're talking about using these for the 100m skeins, forget about it. The holes are way too small to loop and secure that much thread through.
The product is still great (durable, cute, multi-use) even if I can't use it to store monster-size skeins of Sashiko thread. :)

Cute Bobbins!

I was getting bored of using just plain white bobbins so decided to purchase these to try something different. Love them! Great quality and also is a great way for me to distinguish between different projects!
