love the packaging. students ran out of thread. this particular pattern may require 2 skeins of thread.
These work up so well and quickly. The printing is done so well and clearly. I love the size too--it's perfect for a cushion or can be cut up into little patches.
It was a wonderful pattern to sew!
This was my first sashiko pattern, after taking the Sashiko 101 class. It was a perfect amount of work, not complicated, and was easy to stitch with no knots, the way Claudia showed us. I love the dark navy color and using the bright Olympus thread on it. I recommend this pattern, espeically to those new to sashiko who want to get in the groove!
I’m brand new to Sashiko. This kit had everything thing to get started. I also bought a thimble. The packaging was perfect. After one day stitching, I’m hooked. The pre-printed fabric is wonderful. The lines are easy to see and the fabric feels really nice. I think I may end up needing more thread. That may be user error. The needles are high quality. This sampler is a nice project for clearing the mind or while watching tv or traveling. It will be perfect to take to my local fiber friend’s meetup.
