Wool Felt
Sashiko means "little stabs" and is a Japanese style of hand embroidery. Beautifully intricate patterns are created with a simple running stitch using thick cotton Sashiko thread. Sashiko is great for beginning and advanced stitchers alike. Easy to learn and relaxing to do!
Pre-printed Sashiko samplers are make it easy to get started. Simply follow the stitch marks with a Sashiko running stitch and watch the pattern emerge. Samplers are printed using wash-away ink, which allows you to wash the sampler in cool water upon completion to wash away any stray markings not covered by your stitching.

great little project to start learning Sashiko
Love this pattern—I used a bright green Olympus thread on it! Also fun to discover French knots on this pattern!
Sashiko is so much fin to do and so relaxing. I lived in Japan as a child and remember seeing this type of work. The quality of these kits are very nice, made in Japan is always good. I will be ordering more Sashiko kits from you in the future. You have a wonderful variety of items, so glad I found you.
