Things You Can Fit In Flatty

Mustard is a color that speaks to me in general right now. If the mfr. accepted a wish list, I'd want a plum color to go with it. I picked this because of the big clear front, the canvas fabric (instead of PVC) and the multiple sections. Things You Can Fit In Flatty: Embroidery Edition [A] The Corinne Lapierre toadstool applique project which has a 190mm Nurge No 4 hoop in it. I don't think a hoop any bigger than that will fit with the magnet closure fully activated. [B] A full Craftpod ,if you're familiar. These usually contain two projects. [C] A Kiriki Press sampler. The subscription samplers have two patterns (retail has one) and even if you put both on hoops, Flatty expands wide enough that you can fit them in. Even when stuffing Flatty with A, B, or C, I still had room to spare for notions, scissors, threaders, instructions, needle minders, etc. Flatty is sturdy and I can tell it will last a long time.

New favorite project bag!!!

I am SUPER impressed with this bag. The construction is fabulous, and I love all the interior pockets and gusset. I am currently learning to big stitch quilt and using this to tote an assortment of things back and forth to the lake. I made a 18x18" mini quilt to practice, which can be folded down and fits beautifully, along with a slew of different kinds of Finca, WonderFil Perle, Cottage Garden perle, and Sashiko threads, thimbles, snips, needle threader, etc. The design of the bag is compact, yet it holds a ton due to the gusset. I love the see through front to help me quickly find what I need as well. This will definitely become a go-to when I'm traveling or just needing to grab a few things to sew with friends!!!

The name cracks me up

but the functionality is nothing to laugh at. This is a perfect size for a small embroidery, slow stitching or beading on the go project. Fits in my tote bag perfectly. Has a back section perfect for holding directions or folded fabric and the gusseted front means it holds more than I thought it would. It's also thick enough and sturdy enough that scissor points won't pierce it willy-nilly. I'm sure they *could* under duress but in normal ops your points and your Flatty will be unscathed.

Cruising

Purchased this to take a project on a 7 day cruise. Worked perfectly. Held my project plus needles, floss, and scissors with room to spare. Compact and light.

Project Bag

Great for storage and then use. I store my projects singularly in bags or containers, Then I put them in a larger basket or container by type of project. I really like the Flatty’s as that is what they are and store so well until ready to use. Fits in my purse perfectly so love the transportablilty
