The Hexagonal Palm Thimble from Lemon Loom is a versatile tool that is ideal for Sashiko style stitching, mending, hand quilting and more. The soft leather thimble features an adjustable elastic band to accommodate a wide range of finger sizes comfortably. The large hexagonal design gives you a larger area for pushing your needle through layers of fabric and the double flap design allows you to use this thimble as a needle puller as well! Simply wrap the tip of your needle between the two layers and allow the extra grip from the thimble to help you pull your needle through sticky spots.

Comfortable with a multi purpose

I really like how comfortable this palm thimble is and the ability to use it to pull the needle out is an extra benefit. Definitely a keeper

Lemon Loom Thimbles

These thimbles are the answer to my prayers!!! I am a beginner Shashiko stitcher but have been a soft sculpture artist for years. Often I am going through multiple layers of different fabric and need a boost to get my needles through. These are comfortable and the strength from my hand is better than the ends of my fingers. The leather thimble is so much easier to use than a metal thimble of any kind. I’m so happy I tried these and I highly recommend them to any and all types of stitchers.

Saves fingers!

I’ve been doing kantha quilts and with the first one my fingers were so sore and my thumb split twice. I bought one of these and started pushing with it on my palm and WOW, what a difference!! No more sore fingers! I was so pleased that I bought another so I could have them in different organizer pouches.
