Wool Felt
Mexican Manta Cloth is a beautiful raw cotton multipurpose fabric. Excellent for hand embroidery, garment sewing, home decor projects and more. Sometimes called "Wild Cotton" this versatile fabric is made of 100% natural unbleached cotton and it is the fabric that is used for traditional Mexican embroidered blouses and dresses. Similar in weight to a lightweight canvas with excellent breathability, this fabric will become softer and have more drape as it is washed.

I like the fabric. If you plan to make this into an embroidered piece of clothing be aware that the shrinkage is extreme. One yard (36” ) shrunk to 29”. Shrinkage from selvage to selvage is even more. This was after one wash. I suspect I might have a little more shrinkage on the next wash. I do anticipate that it will soften after more washings.
