The Not So Spooky Stitching Club is a stitching project that combines embroidery and English paper piecing, with a bit of sewing. What could be better than combining embroidery, cute spooks, English paper piecing, and candy?

This project features 13 embroidery patterns with some favorite Halloween characters and icons. The patterns are designed to work on a little bit at a time, so you can make this hand-stitched project in about eight weeks. It's suitable for beginners and fun for experienced stitchers too.

Each pattern fits on a piece that's part of a hexagon spider web mini quilt, and that's where the English paper piecing (a hand-sewing technique) comes in. Along with the embroidered sections, you'll also make extra pieces and everything will fit together to make a 14x16-inch mini quilt you can hang on your wall or use as a table mat.
