What's New Wednesday Recap - October 28, 2020

Last night I hosted a What's New Wednesday session on Instagram Live that was jam packed with new supplies that have recently arrived in the shop and some tips and tricks on how to stitch Sashiko samplers.

You can view all of the new items I talked about by browsing the New Arrivals section of the shop. Here are the direct links to a few of the items I highlighted...

I love sashiko! Last year, I saw a post on your Instagram of the kaguri-sashi and I was like… WHAT! So I got fancy rainbow sashiko floss and went to town. Now I have a fancy finish that looks like I’m next level fiber artist. I love the way you don’t have to stare at a screen or a paper pattern. You just jab that needle in through the pattern on the fabric and seeing the results appear so quickly is satisfying.
I shared this blog post with my local stitching club, so Austin, Texas will represent! Thank you for the opportunity!

Congratulations on the YouTube channel. I love Sashiko. However the couple of projects I have started are languishing as I feel there is an order to the stitching of the patterns that I have yet to master. My stitching is willy nilly but I feel like there is a methodology and purposeful order to the stitching. I’ll figure it out eventually. Slow stitching. Real slow stitching. Lol.

I used to do Sashiko when I was in high school. I love your website and would love to start again!
