Essex Yarn Dyed Linen Blend fabrics from Robert Kaufman are woven with black and white threads in the warp, which gives this collection its distinctive textured look. Heavier than quilting cotton with a full-bodied drape, this classic fabric is ideal as a base for embroidery projects, garment sewing, bag making, home decor, quilting and more.

Love this fabric. Trying to do some embroidery with white floss. Maybe practice some Sashiko. Thanks
I truly enjoy stitching the Essex Yarn Dyed fabrics and have many colors. The denim has become one of my favorites, especially for Sashiko inspired work, and the linen / cotton blend is a joy to stitch.
